Tampa Police & Firefighters Showcased in Public Safety Programs on CTTV

There’s a new way to find out what’s happening in the Tampa Police and Fire Departments. City of Tampa Television, introduces two new public safety programs that take you behind the scenes of the Tampa Police Department and Tampa Fire Rescue.

Police Chief Steve Hogue hosts “On Duty with the Tampa Police Department.” The program introduces viewers to many of the men and women of TPD, shows what these civil servants do on a daily basis and describes the many services provided by the department.

“On Scene with Tampa Fire Rescue” highlights different aspects of Tampa Fire Rescue, such as community outreach efforts, firefighter readiness training, fire inspection, reviews of the latest equipment and technology and an introduction to the men and women inside the fire station.

Sundays at 8:00 p.m., Tuesdays at 5:00 p.m., Wednesdays at 3 p.m and Fridays at 10:30 a.m.

City of Tampa Television is Channel 15 on the Verizon FiOS system and Channel 615 on Bright House Networks.
