Tampa Florida, 33604 It is the Clean City Division's goal to maintain the highest
standards with our core services and customer service (to both
internal and external customers). Clean City is a highly
specialized division designed to respond and provide quality
services to the City of Tampa within 24-48 hours. Providing
services to approximately 333,040 city residents within a 116.1
square mile radius. Our staff are trained professionals,
dedicated, enthusiastic and committed to "Keeping Tampa
Beautiful and Clean".
The Division's main objective is to succeed in becoming one of
the Top 10 Treasured Cities within the United States, which will
enhance the quality of life, economic development and provide a
more aesthetically pleasing city government.
Through our new Anti-Litter Campaign Initiative, "Treasure
Tampa" A Clean City is Worth Preserving was created for the City
of Tampa. Our mascot, Captain Green Eye (Educational Messenger)
was also created to educate elementary and middle school
students to take personal pride and responsibility to keep their
schools and neighborhood litter-free.
Clean City now has an annual "Tampa Clean City Day Initiative", as
part of the Great American Clean Up held between (March -- May)
each year. This event is designed to support beautification
projects, clean up efforts, Adopt-A-Street Program, trash
receptacles and recycling awareness city-wide.
We invite you to be part of the annual "Tampa City Day Initiative" to
make the City of Tampa a cleaner place to live, work, recreate
and visit.
Mission
The Clean City Division mission is to provide a comprehensive, landscape and maintenance system to the
interstate, gateways and medians in an effort to reduce litter,
graffiti and illegal dumping through education and enforcement,
thus create a city environment that is aesthetically pleasing.
The Clean City Division addresses 10 key
areas citywide:

Focusing on beautification of the Interstate
Highway System -- Entrance/ Exit Ramps -
Providing maintenance services to Tampa
Neighborhood right-of-ways by Districts (New Tampa, North,
South, East and West).

Responding to graffiti request within 24-48
hours -
Maintaining the landscape of parkways,
medians, and city owned vacant lots -
Reducing & eliminating illegal dumping
activities -
Disposing of illegal signage/snipe signs

Servicing of approved & unapproved
right-of-ways -
Treating major thoroughfares and residential
corridors with herbicide spray application.
