Now you can quickly get an approximate cost of all of the permit and plan review fees for your project by using our new "Quick Calc" fee calculator. (The fee calculator uses Microsoft Excel for the calculations. If you do not have Excel on your computer, you can download the Excel Viewer free from Microsoft.)

This fee calculator allows you to plug in the square footage and cost per square foot information obtained from our valuation data tables  (pdf, 237kb) Adobe Reader is required to view.

If you know what will be installed for your building, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and fire components, then you can use the fee calculator to get an  approximation of what your plan review and permit costs will be for both residential and commercial projects.

Note: The fee calculator will give you an approximate cost for the corresponding construction areas, and is not a final determination of all of the associated fees. These fees do not include any water or sewer connection fees, transportation impact fees, school impact fees ,or any other special permit fees that may be applicable.
