Center's Executive Chef, Certified Chef de Cuisine |

FL (January 26, 2009) - Tampa Convention Center’s Executive Chef
Pascal Beaute has successfully completed ProChef Level II
certification becoming a Certified Chef de Cuisine. Developed
by the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) and the American
Culinary Federation (ACF), two of the largest chef
organizations, the ProChef Certification is a well respected and
recognizable qualification in the Hospitality Industry.
“Completing and passing the ProChef Level II
Certification speaks highly of Chef Beaute’s dedication to
Culinary Arts, it required many hours of study, practice and
preparation,” said Paul E. Scott, General Manager of Food and
Beverage at the Tampa Convention Center
Chef Beaute joined the Tampa Convention
Center as Executive Chef July of 2008. Prior to joining the
Convention Center, Chef Beaute was part of Aramark’s culinary
team at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Bejing China. Originally
from France, Chef Beaute received his culinary training from
Ecole Secondaire de Sochaux where he received his first degree
of general instruction. Beaute received his culinary diploma at
the L’Ecole Hôtelière de Poligny in Jura, France and holds a
Master’s Degree in the art and technique of vacuum cuisine from
Ecole de Georges Pralut.

Center Acquires New Sales Managers |

Stacy McGlinnen, CMP, has been appointed National Sales
Manager covering the Midwest and West Regions of the US. In
addition to covering these regions McGlinnen will handle
Religious and Multi Cultural Groups. McGlinnen has been in the
business for over 20 years holding positions as Director of
Catering with both the Florida Aquarium and Wyndham Harbour
Island. She was with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts for ten years in
Tampa and Hilton Head, SC where she held management positions in
food and beverage, banquets and catering/convention services.
McGlinnen received her Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality
Management from Ferris State University, Big Rapids, Michigan

Marisa Adams has been appointed National
Sales Manager covering the Southeast region and more specific
markets as Sports, MacDill Air Force Base, and the University of
South Florida. Adams has worked in advertising, fundraising,
marketing and sales. Most recently she was the Director of
Development at a local private school. Her diverse experience
will bring a unique prospective to the Tampa Convention Center.
Adams received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass
Communications from the University of South Florida. |

Jennifer Goulbourne,
has been appointed Sales Manager working with the local Tampa
Bay market. Goulbourne has been in the hotel business for over
11 years holding various positions with Saddlebrook, Innisbrook,
Westin Buckhead in Atlanta and Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay. Goulbourne
received her Associates in Arts degree in Hospitality Management
from Hillsborough Community College. |
