Channel District
The Channel District continues its transformation from a
warehouse and distribution center to a residential and arts and
entertainment magnet. StageWorks Theatre opened a 99-seat theater
in the Grand Central at Kennedy and the Related Companies announced
plans to construct a 360-unit apartment complex. The City completed
construction of the Washington Street Park and completed a number
of significant infrastructure improvements throughout the area. These
amenities and improvements are certain to attract additional investment
to this exciting and dynamic urban neighborhood.
