The Assistant Chief of Administration assists the Fire Chief in the day-to-day operations of the fire department, directly supervising the service divisions, such as the Maintenance Shop, Supply, Communications, the Budget Analyst, Specifications Officer and Systems Analyst. These Service divisions are headed up by individuals who do an excellent job in supporting the overall operation of  Tampa Fire Rescue. Chief Tom Forward is the Assistant Chief of Administration.
