New Construction Plan Examination Fees

Building Projects:

Fire Marshal plan examination fees for commercial occupancy construction projects are calculated with the following table based on the square footage of area under construction or the construction activity to be performed. Fees are due upon application and submittal of construction plans. These are new fees.

• 5,001 - 10,000 $30.00/$7.00
• 10,001 - 15,000 $50.00/$12.00
• 15,001 - 20,000 $70.00/$17.00
• 20,001 - 25,000 $90.00/$22.00
• 25,001 - 30,000 $110.00/$27.00
• 30,001 - 35,000 $130.00/$32.00
• 35,001 - 40,000 $150.00/$37.00
• 40,001 - 45,000 $170.00/$42.00
• 45,001 - 50,000 $190.00/$47.00

Buildings with multiple stories shall be calculated at a per floor rate from the table above. For Floors in excess of 50,000 square feet, add the amounts listed above to $190.00.

New Construction Plan Examination Fees
Fire Protection and Fuel Systems:

All plan review submittals for fire suppression, fire alarm, and fire detection systems, shall be assessed a review fee of $25.00 per floor per system.

All plan review submittals for site plans, fuel storage and fuel dispensing systems shall be assessed a review fee of $25.00.

New Construction Permits/Inspections:

Reinspections fees are for the area requiring a reinspection. All reinspections are subject to a reinspection fee.

• Flammable and Combustible Storage Tanks:

  • Above Ground Installation (per tank). $40.00/$50.00
