Tampa Fire Rescue has opened an “Education Station”
to teach preschool children about fire safety and the
fire department. Toys and games to get their attention,
then just when they are having fun they get a fire or
life safety message.
The
Juvenile Firesetters Workshop presents information
on fire prevention and fire safety to aid individuals in
breaking the chain of fire-setting and is offered as an alternative to jail for first-time offenders that are referred through
the Juvenile Justice System.
