Board of Trustees
The General Employees Retirement Fund is administered by a seven member Board of Trustees. Three members are elected by the City's active employees, with the exception of employees who have entered the Deferred Retirement Option Program (DROP); three are appointed by the Mayor; and one is the Chief Financial Officer. The Board of Trustees approves pension benefits and manages the assets in the General Employees Retirement Fund.
The Board meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 1:00 P.M. in City Council Chambers, located on the 3rd Floor of Old City Hall, 315 East Kennedy Blvd., Tampa, FL 33602. Everyone is invited to attend.
