NIMS Training:

NIMS is the National Incident Management System. The NIMS is intended to provide a consistent, flexible, and adjustable national framework to enable Federal, State, local, and tribal governments and private sector and nongovernmental organizations to work together effectively and efficiently to prepare for, prevent, respond to, and recover from domestic incidents, regardless of cause, size, or complexity, including acts of catastrophic terrorism 

NIMS Courses:

• ICS 100-Introduction to ICS 
• ICS 200-Basic ICS 
• ICS 300-Intermediate ICS 
• ICS 400-Advanced ICS
• IS 700- Explains NIMS components, concepts and principles.
• IS 800 The National Response Plan: Introduction to the new federal protocol for responding to incidents of national significance.

The 100, 200, 700 and 800 level courses are available in a Web-based independent study format and as classroom-delivered courses. 300 and 400 level courses are classroom based.
