Land Development Coordination Division

Welcome to the City of Tampa Land Development Coordination Home Page. Land Development Coordination (LDC) Division is part of the Planning and Development Department. LDC houses the Zoning Section, Subdivision/DRI Section, and Right-of-Way & Mapping Section. The City of Tampa Department of Planning and Development's overall department function is to ensure safe and affordable housing and commercial structures that are compatible and compliant with applicable codes and ordinances.

The office is open from 8 AM until 4:00 PM.  To schedule an appointment, please us.  In your email, please state who you would like to see and the reason for your visit.

 


Accela Citizen Access Goes Live!

Residents wanting to apply for a rezoning, right-of-way vacating, subdivision review, change a property's address, or design exceptions among other Land Development processes are now able to complete applications online, check on the status of those applications 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and make payments. For the purposes of compliance with public notice requirements pertaining to Land Development Decisions and Text Amendments to the Land Development Code, the following registration service is to be used pursuant to City Code Section 27-394 as outlined per City Ordinance Number 2011-12:

It's called a QR Code...A type of two-dimensional barcode that can contain information, such as a url link to this web site, or other valuable information. The Land Development Coordination Division now uses QR codes on some of it's documents. Just scan the QR code with your smartphone to get the latest up to date information.
