The City of Tampa Mayor's Hispanic Heritage Committee was formed in 1988 as a City Employee volunteer committee. Each year in the Month of October (Hispanic Heritage Month) the Committee hosts the 22nd Anniversary Celebration in honor of Tampa's Hispanic Employees, the Hispanic Community, and their many contributions to Tampa and its citizens.
