The Mayor’s Youth Corps will hold monthly meetings. Activities will focus on community service, leadership and team building, as well as familiarization with city government. Other activities will include regular open forums with the Mayor and service based activities, such as “Paint Your Heart Out.”

Important Dates for the 2007-2008 School Year:

• Monday, September 17 – Participating schools receive applications
• Friday, October 19 – Applications due for Mayor's Youth Corps Class of 2008
• Saturday, December 1 – Applicant interviews begin
