Special event parking rates are established for use during off-peak times and are collected on entry to the parking garage or lot. This method of collection aids event attendees as it allows all patrons to exit facilities without having to stop and pay.

Some facilities such as the Tampa Bay Times Forum, Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, Tampa Convention Center and the downtown John F. Germany Library are locations which have special parking rates associated with some or all of their events.
