Just in time for holiday
gift shopping, Made By Hand, the annual art and craft sale, is back
at the Kate Jackson Community Center on November 21 and 22.
This year, Made By Hand features contemporary jewelry, pottery
items, glass pieces, woodworking, baskets and more. There’s
something for everyone on your list and all your holiday needs.

Santa Fest and Holiday Parade - December 5

Santa Fest is sure to get
you in the holiday mood as Centennial Park is transformed into a
winter wonderland with two giant snow slides make-n-take crafts and
continuous holiday entertainment. The young, and the young at heart,
can visit with Santa and enjoy holiday entertainment in the
courtyard of Ybor State Museum. The festival culminates at 4 p.m. as
the Santa Fest Holiday Santa Fest is Saturday, December 5 from 11
.am. - 4 p.m. in Centennial Park. located at 1800 18th Street in
Ybor City. |
Reduced Fee For After School Activity Program Application

New fees are now in effect
for our After School Activity Program. We want every child to
have an opportunity to participate in our recreation programs and
are offering families a multi-child discount. Further discounts are
available based on income.

Go to a Tampa Bay Lightning Game and Send a Kid to Summer Camp

Cheer for your Tampa Bay Lightning at their January 12 game against the
Washington Capitals and the January 21 game against the Toronto Maple Leafs
and support the Friends of Tampa Recreation, Inc.'s Scholarship Program. A
portion of all tickets sold will benefit the Friends of Tampa Tampa
Recreation, Inc.'s Pete Burgue Scholarship Program, which provides
low-income children a full scholarship to the City of Tampa Parks and
Recreation Department’s After School Activity Program (ASAP) and Summer Day
Camps. Special discounted tickets are available for purchase for these two
