The Macfarlane Park Trail is a five-foot wide asphalt trail that meanders 1.2 miles via a loop system around the perimeter of the park. Many seniors enjoy this pedestrian only trail, which is located near the David Barksdale Senior Citizen Center. Other park amenities include picnic tables, grills, restrooms, ball fields, play courts, tennis and racquetball courts, a playground, and a community center.
