Athletic Leagues Parks offers a wide array of free sports programs, leagues and instructional sports clinics focused on a range of sports including basketball, soccer, kickball, flag football, baseball, street hockey and girls slow pitch softball. Adult Sports ProgramsGet your best team together and come compete in our adult sports leagues. Softball - Slow-pitch softball is offered year-round for Men, Women, Church, Co-ed and Sunday Night leagues. The fee $330 per team plus an ASA annual membership fee of $20. All teams must attend the organizational meeting to play in the upcoming season. All meetings will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Wayne C. Papy Athletic Center, located at 6925 N. Florida Avenue.
Men's Baseball League - This is competitive men's basketball league is offered in the fall and spring at several gymnasiums located throughout the city. The league fee is $310 per team. Volleyball - Co-ed recreational volleyball is a great way to socialize with friends. All players should have knowledge of the bump, set and spike. The league fee is $150 per team.
Co-ed Kickball - Gather up a group of friends to play one of the
favorite childhood sports of all time. . .kickball! Adults of all skill levels
are welcome. League fee is $185 per team.
Youth Sports ProgramsBasketball League Participants, ages 9-15, will learn basic basketball instruction, training drills and games. All participants will have a chance to improve their skills in a fun and safe learning environment.
Soccer Participants, ages 5-13, will learn the basic soccer skills and have the opportunity to play in every game. All games are played at Henry & Ola Park, located at 502 W. Henry Avenue. The activity fee includes a soccer uniform with shorts, shirt and socks. Players must provide their own shin guards and cleats.
Girls Softball This softball program is geared towards girls ages 17 and younger and focuses on player development and teamwork. Players must provide their own glove and personal equipment. Current high school players are not eligible for this league.
Summer Sports Clinics A variety of summer sports clinics are offered at community centers and parks throughout the city. Summer clinics begin the week of June 11, 2012. Volunteer Coaches Needed All of the City of Tampa youth sports programs depend on volunteer coaches. Please consider volunteering to coach or assist with your child's team when registering. All volunteer applicants must pass a background check to qualify.
