Walking with the Mayor - Keeping Tampa Fit

Mayor Iorio initiated Walking with the Mayor – Keeping
Tampa Fit in 2005 and walks are held each March and October at
Al Lopez Park. The goal of the walks is to encourage citizens throughout
Tampa to incorporate additional physical activity into their lifestyles for
better health. The walks are an extension of Mayor Iorio’s commitment to
improving the overall quality of life in Tampa. Registration opens at 6:30 a.m.
and the walk begins at 7:30 a.m.

Membership and Rate Information
Membership Fee: $10.00/month. Membership dues are paid monthly (no long-term contracts) and include
access to the weight and cardiovascular equipment room and discounts on classes.
