What you need:
- White paper squares (copy paper is fine)
4" x 4", 5" x 5", 6" x 6"
- Red marker
- Ruler
- Tape
- Pipe cleaners
- Ribbon
What you do:

Cut squares of paper out
- Mark ½ - ¾ " along 2 sides
- Color inside "L" shape with red marker
- On the opposite corner, begin rolling up the square (you can use a
pencil too!)

When
you have a tube, it should have stripes evenly spaced around it.
- Add a small piece of tape to secure.
- Cut a pipe cleaner to fit the length of the tube.
- Begin shaping the curve of the candy cane. (The paper will
flatten some when you do this.)
- Add a pretty ribbon to the cane and hang on your tree or add to a
package for a decoration.
Time Capsule Ornament
Make these at your New Years Eve party and your guests have a memento of that
special night! What you need:
- Clear glass ornament
- Silver & blue ribbon
- Silver paint marker
- Strips of paper for writing on
- Confetti garland
What you do:
- Open the top of ornament and set hanger aside.
- Fill inside with confetti garland to give it color.
- Add your hopes, dreams and wishes for the future inside on strips of paper.
- Close ornament with hanger.
- Paint "2000" on outside with paint marker.
- When dry, add festive ribbon to hanger top.
 Countdown to Christmas Treats
Your kids will enjoy opening a surprise each day before
Christmas. If you start December 1st you make 24 little packages. Whenever you
begin, 2 weeks or a week before, they will love opening something before Christmas!
What you need:
- Tissue paper
- Scissors
- Ribbon
- Tags
- Glitter pen
- Surprises (candy, trinkets, etc.)
What you do:
- Cut squares of tissue paper.
- Add candy or other surprises inside and pull up corners to close.
- Add a twist tie to close.
- On the paper tags, add the number of days before Christmas. Let dry.
- Add tags to bundles.
- Tie a pretty ribbon on, then tuck in tree branches for the kids to find.
