What youll need:
Silkspan (found in hobby stores, used for making model airplanes)
Dyes or food coloring
Water
Cups for dye
Plastic gloves
Paper towels
What to do:
Cut out sled kite shape first.
Fold silkspan a lot to make lots of patterns.
(It should be small enough to fit easily in dye cups.)
Prepare the dye according to directions. Hint: Less water will make more intense colors.
Dip corners in dye cups. Dye will travel up until you blot it.
Continue dipping until most of the white is gone.
Colors overlapping make new colors! Blot well and gently unfold to see your creation.
