Image directions for making A Wreath for All SeasonsWhat you need:

  •  Grapevine wreath 15”-20”
  • Chicken wire
  • Wire cutters
  • Floral wire

  • Green moss

  • Green spray paint

  • Ribbons (for each season)

  • Flowers (for each season)

  WHAT TO DO:

  • Cut a piece of chicken wire fencing approximately 2’ x 4’ long.  Spray fencing green and let dry.

  • Bend it into a flat back basket shape that will fit on the outside of grapevine wreath near the bottom (see illustration).

  • Fold over the edge of fencing so that there are no sharp edges exposed.

  • Attach the wire basket to vine with floral wire in 4 places.

  • From the inside, attach the green moss pushing it through the holes somewhat to disguise the wire.

  • Now you have your basic wreath you can decorate!

  •  For fall or Thanksgiving, add the beautiful miniature pumpkins and squashes.  Fill in with pretty leaves or fall flowers.  Add an autumn bow to decorate the vine.

  •  For Halloween, add small pumpkins, Halloween ghosts or cats.  Finish the book with spider webbing on the vine and purple and black ribbons!

  • For Christmas, add a small pot with real or silk poinsettias.  Fill in with ivy, holly, and white dried flowers.  Add a gold ribbon to the vine!

Image directions for making Fall SwagFALL SWAG

(Pretty around your door!)

 What you need:

  • Rope (natural) ¼” – ½”
  • Hot glue gun
  • Floral wire
  • Leaves, natural or silk

 WHAT TO DO:

  •  Begin by measuring how long of a swag you need.  It can be over a door or around the three sides.
  • Cut rope, and then add your floral wire around so that you can bend the swag easily.
  • If you are using natural leaves, press them first overnight between books with paper towels.  This will make them lay flat and be easier to glue.
  • Begin in the center and work from side to side, gluing leaves, overlapping them for a natural look.
