Youth Programs

Big achievements in life start with small successes. Like learning how to be part of a team. Or figuring out that excellence comes from a daily commitment of time and hard work. Tampa's parks give children a chance to learn those life lessons, to experience success early and to dream big. Parks build future leaders by giving youth the opportunity to lead. Personal Achievements - It Starts in Parks!

Our   and playgrounds provide a safe, structure and fun environment for children 5-17 years old as well as for adults, seniors and people with disabilities. We provide opportunities for living, learning and leading full and productive lives. The City of Tampa Parks and Recreation Department is offering a variety of classes, after school activities, and homework assistance.

Tot Program

The Children's Adventure and Movement Program (C.A.M.P.) is offered to children 3 years to 5 years of age at several facilities throughout the City. This exciting program was created to give children in this age group an opportunity to participate in recreational activities such as physical fitness, arts & crafts, drama, singing, dance, and games. The program is conducted by trained leaders. For more information, please contact the program coordinator at 274-7717.
