Natural Resources Section

The Natural Resources Section's primary responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and permitting for all grand and right-of-way trees City-wide.

• Code enforcement liaison for tree/landscape/natural resources violations.

• Reviewing for trees, landscape, upland habitat, wetlands, significant wildlife corridors and all other natural resources-related issues on applications for variance, rezoning, special use, DRI/NOPC, subdivision, right-of-way vacating, release of easement and encroachment.

• Coordinating with various agencies on the Urban Forest Management Plan.

• Coordinating with P & R on the Community Tree Program.
