A. A pellet feed, hay, and grass. There are also the treats of horse
cookies, carrots, or alfalfa cubes.
Q. How does your horse get around?
A. The mounted officers pull the horses in a trailer to the work location.
Q. How long does it take to adapt a horse to police work?
A. The training for the horse in from four to six months.
Q. How do you get the horses?
A. All of the horses are donated or rescued from abuse.
