Andrea Davis joined the Tampa Police Department's Media Relations Office in May 2006.  Andrea came to TPD from The Florida Aquarium where she spent five years as the public relations manager overseeing all internal and external public relations efforts.  Prior to that, she handled public relations and special events at the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Pinellas County.

Originally from Seattle, Washington, Andrea moved to Tampa in 1996, after three years in the United States Coast Guard.  A graduate of University of South Florida, Andrea studied journalism.

Andrea is an active volunteer for several animal organizations and in her time away from The Tampa Police Department, you can find her competing in local dog agility trials.
