Kim Vacarro Lisa Eisman

Synopsis: On March 29, 1985, at approximately 2:00 PM, Kim Vaccaro and Lisa Eisman (both 20 years old) left Buffalo, New York hitchhiking to Florida as they were seen getting into a semi-tractor trailer at the Pembrooke rest area of the New York Thruway. They were to meet with college friends in Fort Lauderdale, Florida for spring break. When they did not arrive as planned, family and friends contacted law enforcement to report them missing. On April 2, 1985, a retired Tampa Police Officer found two females floating in the river while fishing in the Hillsborough River located at Interstate 75. It is believed that they traveled the Interstate 95 corridor. Anyone with information as to the murders of Vaccaro and Eisman is requested to contact the Tampa Police Department Homicide Unit at 813-276-3509 or 813-276-3529 or Crime Stoppers at 800-873-TIPS (8477).
