An interactive CD-ROM presentation that focuses on school safety issues in each of four topics:

• Weapons
• Alcohol
• Suicide
• Conflict

Each topic is a separate program.  Students will have a chance to make choices as the drama unfolds.  Their decisions will determine the outcome of the story.  This project is sponsored by the Florida Regional Community Policing Institute (RCPI) at St. Petersburg Junior College.

This program gives students tips on being aware of their surroundings and making themselves a less likely target for opportunist criminals.  Topics include general safety, Ybor City, and the rave scene.  A 10 minute police undercover video of a rave is part of the presentation.

The Tampa Police Department offers guided tours of the Police Headquarters.  Groups and individuals schedule the tours with the Special Incident Management Unit.  The tours are educational and informative to visitors and are tailored to the needs of each group.  Younger groups will have an officer friendly experience while older groups will experience information about law enforcement functions and careers.  Each group visits the Police lobby, museum, and gym.
