The City of Tampa, Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners and the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office have united to hold workshops for adults and youths ages 12-18.  The purpose of the workshop is to familiarize the public with law enforcement and to show the officers some of the cultural differences in the community.

During the programs citizens, officers, and deputies have a chance to do various activities which will give them the opportunity to role-play.  The activities give everyone a chance to address different issues and hopefully lead to a better relationship between the community and law enforcement.  The aim of the workshop is to find and bridge cultural gaps between law enforcement and the community they work in.
