Which garages or parking lots can I park in downtown?
Will on-street parking spaces be available?
- Yes, and there is no charge to park in the
available spaced during the RNC. However, some parking is limited to a
two-hour maximum, please be aware of parking restrictions as indicated at
each space.

Will I be able to park in my parking lot/garage south of Whiting Street?
- Yes, with limitations.
- Vehicles will be subject to screening.
- Must be north of Brorein Street.
Will I be able to get my deliveries?
- Yes, there will be limited freight zones available
plus utilization of the on-street free available parking north of Madison
Street.
- Deliveries inside the secured perimeter have been
pre-arranged with the U.S. Secret Service.
How do I access the Fort Brooke garage?
- Southbound on Tampa Street, east on Whiting Street
and north into the garage.
How do I access the Whiting Street garage or lots south?
- Southbound on Tampa Street, east on Whiting
Street, south on Franklin Street where you will be guided to the Whiting
Street garage entrance on Florida Avenue.
- Vehicles will be subject to screening.
Where do I park to get to the Marriott Waterside or the Embassy Suites?
- Guests will be offered limited parking after
vehicle screening. Workers etc. can park in the closest available parking or
at the Fort Brooke Garage or Port Garages.
How do I access the Hillsborough County Courthouse?
- The courthouse will be open with limited resources
during this week. The Twiggs Street Garage will be available for parking.
Are the City of Tampa offices and the Tampa Police Department operational
and open to the public?
- Both the City of Tampa offices and the Tampa
Police Department will be operational and open to the public.
- Limited street parking is available, or you may
use the Fort Brooke Garage or other available flat lot parking (ie: Jackson
Street lot).
