The City of Tampa will be activating its Joint Information Center (JIC) in support of the 2012 Republican National Convention (RNC). The JIC is a part of the City of Tampa Emergency Operation Center and will be located at 711 East Henderson Avenue in Room 160 (1st floor of the GTE Federal Credit Union Building). The JIC will be activated beginning on Sunday, August 26 at 8 a.m. and will be deactivated on Friday, August 31 at 9 a.m. It will be staffed and operational 24 hours a day during that time.

	Sign up for City of Tampa Joint Information Center Releases News releases and briefs containing announcements and information about City of Tampa departments, projects and events during the 2012 Republican National Convention. The Joint Information Center will be active from August 26 through August 31, 2012. During that time, members of the media are also encouraged to call (813) 274- NEWS or (813) 274-6397.
