Welcome to the Office of Special Events

The Office of Special Events is a division of the City of Tampa Parks and Recreation Department and the regulatory authority of permitting outdoor special events on public property within the City of Tampa. All reservations for special events, such as festivals, runs / walks, parades, block parties and citywide holiday celebrations that take place on public property are initiated with our office.  We hope this web site will be helpful as you begin the special event planning process.
