Special Event Application Forms – City Right of Ways and Parks

apply to conduct your Special Event:
NOTES ON USING THE APPLICATION FORMS
If you have Acrobat Reader, you should be able to both
read the above application forms and type your information
into the boxes provided. You can either tab through the document or click in a box,
then type in your response to any question.
Once completed you can print the document and return it to the
Office of Special Events. We have recently revised the
application documents to allow you to also “save” the document with your edits,
for your records.
Please note the following deadlines for
application:
- If you are seeking city co-sponsorship for any portion of an
event, you must submit a completed Special Event application and
letter to the Mayor a minimum of 90 days in advance of the planned
event date.
- If your event requires a street closure, you must submit a
completed Special Event application a minimum of 90 days in advance
of the planned event date.
- If your event does not require a street closure, nor does it
involve a request for city co-sponsorship, the Special Event
application must be filed a minimum of 60 days in advance of the
planned event date.
- Simple events, confined to Park facilities and not requiring
city co-sponsorship, must be filed a minimum of 30 days in advance of the planned event date.
