NOW HELD AT THE MUSEUM'S
NEW INTERIM LOCATION
Join the popular Art After Dark with Starbucks event, held the third
Friday of each month. Art After Dark with Starbucks offers live music,
art, entertainment, performances and libations. Admission is $10 for guests and
free for museum members. Complimentary food and Starbucks coffee is provided,
along with a cash bar throughout the evening. Art After Dark with Starbucks
is sponsored by the St. Petersburg Times and tbt* Tampa Bay Times.

June 20 — The Art of African Dance
Guests will enjoy performances and music by The House of Ife.
July 18 — Kick Start My Art
A special display of Scooters will be showcased at the museum, along with
local artists displaying works with similar themes.
August 15 — The Art of Reggae
A summer celebration will transform Art After Dark in August with live
music, special presentations and artwork on display, all geared for an evening
of tropical fun.
September 19
— Sound Effects
A showcase of art directly inspired or influenced by music.

Free Family Event
Enjoy music and entertainment, a scavenger hunt, hands-on art activities and
more. Family Day events at the Tampa Museum of Art are FREE and fun for all
ages! Create art with recycled materials inspired by the current exhibition,
It’s Not Easy Green Exhibition.

Mark your calendar for November 1, 2008 to experience The New Pavilion
XXIII – an open-air extravaganza with food and wine pairings at the Skypoint
Condominium rooftop terrace. The New Pavilion will feature private
poolside cabanas, food and wine pairing stations, a live international DJ, and
dress will be black-tie chic. It will be a memorable evening for everyone in
attendance.

Co-chairs Debra Williams McDaniel and Carlton Carter have planned a
spectacular new Pavilion event. The party will be infused with elegance
and eccentricities, creating an intoxicating experience that will drench guests
with infatuating vibes and mesmerizing waterfront views of the Tampa Museum of
Art’s future home.

This year’s patron party is known as The Bubble Lounge. A champagne
brunch and auction at Sidebern’s restaurant on October 5 will delight guests.
