Amount of time Grease Haulers and Food
Service Facilities are required to maintain records: 3 years.
Review for approval, denial, or approval with conditions by City of Grease Hauler’s completed application for registration and renewal of registrations: 45 days from receipt by City of Grease Hauler application.
Length of Grease Hauler Registrations1: 3 years
Update of Grease Hauler Application information: annually (upon anniversary when registration granted).
Renewal submissions of Grease Hauler Registration: At least 45 days prior to expiration of grease hauler registration to allow for review by the City.
Grease Hauler Spill Reporting: A.S.A.P.; no more than 24 hours after spill
City request for Grease Haulers to produce records: within 10 days
Grease Hauler shall respond to NOV: Within 10 calendar days
Appeal of Revocation or Denial of Grease Hauler Registration to Public Works and Utility Services Director:
FAILURE TO FILE WITHIN TIME FRAME WAIVES RIGHT TO
APPEAL: 15 days from receipt of receipt of denial or revocation

How to
Compute the Timelines Under
Ordinance
|

| Section 1-2 Definitions and rules of construction of the City of Tampa Code on “Computation of Time”. In computing any period of time prescribed or allowed by this Code, the day of the act, event or default from which the designated period of time begins to run shall not be included. The last day of the period so computed shall be included unless it is a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday, in which event the period shall run until the end of the next day which is nether a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday. When the period of time prescribed, or allowed is less than seven (7) days, intermediate Saturdays, Sundays and legal holiday shall be excluded in the computation
