About Us

Water, a department under Public Works and Utility Services, treats and delivers drinking water to a service population of approximately 645,000 people in the Tampa Bay area and is responsible for citywide water conservation efforts to help manage local water demands. The Department's service area encompasses 211 square miles.

The Tampa Water Department�s mission is to provide superior drinking water and reclaimed water services to its customers.

The Tampa Water Department will be renowned for its efficient services and superior products by the end of 2011 in support of the City's vision through successful implementation of its strategic plan.
