In the Spring of 2008, the Water Department increased activity in the meter replacement program with a plan to change out over 60,000 meters over the next several years. To stay current on the change out schedule, the Department partnered with Volt Telecomm, Inc.

These contractors working in the City on our behalf carry identification badges, drive vehicles with signs identifying them as a Volt representative, and contact customers - either in person or by leaving a door hanger - to explain the work that was performed.

If you have any question about water service activity in your neighborhood, contact the Water Department's Emergency Repair and Service Section at (813) 274-7400.
