Brad graduated in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Environmental Engineering from the University of Florida and is a
registered Professional Engineer in Florida. Brad has dedicated his
entire career to public service; he has worked for the City of Tampa for
more than 24 years in various capacities.
He was project manager for over $250 million worth of sanitary sewer
capital improvements. He later served as Deputy Director for the
Wastewater Department including overseeing an Optimization Program that
saved the City over $10 million.
Since April 2006 he has served as Director of the Water Department.
In addition to ensuring the Water Department meets its mission 24 hours
per day, seven days per week, he is currently leading the Department in
executing the following initiatives: 1) Aging infrastructure
replacement, 2) Lower Hillsborough River minimum flow, 3) Preventive
maintenance program improvements, 4) Water quality enhancements, 5)
Pipeline system upgrades, 6) Reclaimed water system expansion, and
7) Distribution and production efficiency improvements. |
