Parking Principal: Any garage or surface level lot at which the
parking of vehicles is the principal use of the property, which lot is intended to be used
for a period longer than 6 years, whether operated for commercial or private purposes.
Interim Parking: The principal use of property for the parking
of vehicles for a period of no more than five (5) years [plus a possible one (1) year
extension], after which development of the property shall change to a permanent use status
and require compliance with the standards of a principal use parking lot.
Special Event Parking Lot: The use of property for the parking
of vehicles associated with the need of overflow parking at special events.
