The Ybor Environmental Services (YES) Team was established in December 2000 by the City of Tampa to address problems the Ybor City Historic District was facing with common area clean up and aesthetic maintenance.

As a visitor destination and popular entertainment venue, Ybor City requires additional services from the City in order to stay clean and attractive. To efficiently serve the district, the services of YES Team services are contracted out to a private company, Central Parking, Inc, and managed by the Ybor City Development Corporation. 

The YES Team provides around-the-clock clean-up services, 7 days a week to include the following:

• Hardscape Cleaning - Hard surface cleaning such as pressure-washing and deodorizing sidewalks, streets and alleys, sidewalk blowing and alley cleaning;
• Common Area Litter Control - Trash pick-up of public rights-of-way, sidewalks, common areas, special designated areas as well as special event clean-ups; and clean-up of areas in and adjacent to public parking lots and garages;
• Trash Receptacle Collection – Responsible for servicing all of the decorative trash receptacles in the service area; 
• Other Services – Responsible for cleaning the City’s public restroom facilities, reporting safety problems, assisting the public and serving as Ambassadors to the Ybor City National Historic Landmark District through their visible, uniformed, public presence in the community on a daily basis.
