Hillsborough Rail

The proposed Hillsborough Rail Plan uses light rail transit technology. The plan focuses on four corridors; the Northeast Corridor (downtown Tampa to USF), the Southwest Corridor (Downtown Tampa to Hyde Park) and the West Corridor (Downtown Tampa to the Westshore Business District). A fourth corridor operates from Westshore through Tampa International Airport to Linebaugh Avenue. The Hillsborough Rail Project is comprised of approximately 33.5 miles of fixed guideway rail transit.
