- Business Tax Division
The Business Tax Division is part of the City of Tampa's Department of Revenue and Finance and is responsible for the issuance and collection for all Business Tax Receipts under Chapter 24 of the City's code. The Division also administers the issuance of Business Operating permits to certain regulated businesses defined by Chapter 6 of the City code, and also handles the enforcement and maintenance of the Alcoholic Beverage/Wet Zoning Code set forth in Chapter 3. Additionally, the Division handles the collection of revenues from Rental Certificates, which are currently enforced by the Neighborhood Improvement Division of the Department of Business and Community Services.

- Transportation
The Transportation Division operates the City's transportation system through its management of the City's transportation and traffic planning activities; transportation project survey, design, and construction supervision; and sign, signal, and roadway maintenance activities. Transportation's present inventory consists of 1,441 miles of streets, 565 computerized traffic signals, and 68,300 traffic signs.
