Subject: Tampa Police Department Storage Tank Contamination

As you have requested, here is storage tank information known about the four sites adjacent to and including Tampa Police Department Headquarters. As of 1999, limited preliminary analyses indicated petroleum contamination sufficient for acceptance into the State's Early Detection Incentive (EDI) Program in the State Administered Clean Up Program. Due to the State's low scoring of all four sites, funding for remediation is not likely available for the immediate future.
