  • 5/19/09 - The Tampa-Hillsborough Action Plan (THAP) received $3 Million of ARRP Weatherization funds through the State of Florida. The purpose of the Weatherization Program is to increase the energy efficency of homes, thus lowering the homes' energy burden (monthly electric bill). This is a free program for low-income families who earn below 50% of the Area Median Income. Eligible repairs include windows, doors, water heaters, and HVAC. Mr. Travis Sewell is the Weatherization Program Coordinator and can be contacted at (813) 626-4926 or by e-mail at tsewell110@hotmail.com.
