Neighborhood and Community Relations, a department under Neighborhood Services, serves as a resource for residents and the business community. As a liaison between city government and the people, the department provides a point-of-contact to all citizens, with special emphasis on Tampa’s neighborhood and civic associations.  The department also supports the Community Development Block Grant Advisory Committee, Mayor’s African American Advisory Council, Mayor’s Hispanic Advisory Council and year round community events.
