In an effort to provide renewal opportunities, the City of Tampa Parking Division will be distributing new permits to qualified residents and business owners. June 30, 2009 - National Clean Beaches Week is July 1-7, 2008 and the City of Tampa is encouraging residents to get involved to help keep our beaches clean and healthy. The public is invited to join the City of Tampa Parks and Recreation Department and the Mayor’s Beautification Program for beach clean-up projects at Ben T. Davis Beach and Picnic Island Beach on Sunday, July 5, from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m.

June 17, 2009 - Courier City/Oscawana residential parking permit phase 3 distribution will take place June 22-26 at the Fort Brooke Parking Administrative Offices, located at 107 North Franklin Street. The office will be open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Residents are required to bring a minimum of two items to prove residency. On-street enforcement begins July 6.  more...
June 17, 2009 - Tampa City Council is seeking volunteers to serve on the Equal Business Opportunity Advisory Council (EBOAC) to fill seven positions to be appointed by City Council.  The Deadline for submission of applications is 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 in the Office of the City Clerk.  Applicants will be scheduled to make a three minute presentation during the July 23, 2009 workshop session of City Council.  See the notice for details.  more...
