Goals

• Increase community usage of the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), Child Tax Credit (CTC) and free income tax preparation at Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites

• Increase community levels of bankability and family savings through financial education.

• Steering Committee – Provide fiscal and operational oversight and involve major stakeholders.

• Marketing & Community Outreach – Increase awareness and engage the business community.

• Community Volunteers & VITA Sites – Identify, recruit and oversee volunteers and VITA sites.

• Asset Building & Financial Education – Promote financial education and other asset building programs.
