City of Tampa, Florida, Case No. 03-CA-005425 in the Circuit Court of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit in and for Hillsborough County, Florida. 







In June, 2003, a class action lawsuit was filed against the City of Tampa on behalf of attorneys that operated or maintained a law office in Tampa, challenging the constitutionality of Tampa’s business tax ordinance as applied to attorneys. August 26, 2010 - The peak of Hurricane Season is early to mid-September. Earlier this month, government scientists predicted there could be up to 20 named storms before the 2010 season ends. Historically, many of the past major storms began forming in late August and on into October.

August 26, 2010 - Mayor Pam Iorio’s guest on the September episode of “Mayor’s Book Talk” will be Tampa author Art Keeble. The two will discuss Baseball Was My Life: Stories from West Tampa, a book that Keeble wrote along with co-author Mary Jo Malone. In the book, Keeble and Malone tell captivating stories about the sport that is so deeply tied to Tampa’s history, and share insights from such baseball notables as Al Lopez, Lou Piniella, Dave Magadan, Fred McGriff, Tino Martinez and Luis Gonzalez.  more...
