Tampa's Tree Lighting Ceremony

Attend Tampa's annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, December 5 in beautiful Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park. 

Festivities begin at 6 p.m. with the Karl & DiMarco Singers followed by the dynamic sounds of the Late Night Brass. Magic 94.9 will be on hand for the Secret Santa Giveaway.

The evening will include a countdown to light the tree with Mayor Buckhorn, a Christmas Market, and a free movie in the park featuring Arthur Christmas

Tampa's Christmas Market will be open and offering your favorite holiday treats and gift items, and Tampa's Downtown on Ice will also be open during the event.

Admission is free, but we ask everyone bring a teddy bear that will be donated to children in our local hospitals as part of the Rough Riders Annual Teddy Bear Drive.

Blankets, low back chairs, coolers and dogs on leashes are allowed. Concessions will be available. Glass and alcohol are prohibited.
