Addition of Washington Palms
Art in Public Places component that entails decorative pavers along thesidewalk with tobacco leaf shapes andgranite inscriptions from Ferdie Pacheco's book "Memoirs"
Addition of street furniture (i.e. benches) to complement thehistoric lights and trash receptacles
Serves as an identifiable symbol for Ybor City
This landmark gateway is located at the intersection of 7th Ave.& Nick Nuccio
A smaller gateway, complimentary in design, is located in the medianof Palm Ave at Nebraska
3. New District Signage Program that creates a new logo and look for YborCity. All of the vehicular and pedestrian signs will be replaced by newsigns. The program includes overhead signs, parking signs, destinationsigns, street name signs, bus parking, and coordination of existing signs withnew poles.
4. Parking lot landscaping improvements to the public lots in Ybor City.
5. New historic lights (23) were installed on 8th Ave.
6. New traffic signal was installed at 8th Avenue and 21st& 22nd Streets
7. District wide sanitary sewer improvements.
8. Water vault improvements in deficient blocks for fire sprinkler operation.

Enhancement of park includes a new south entry with the addition ofthe Nick Nuccio Statue
Site of many special events as well as the weekly Ybor City Fresh Market,Main Street Quarterly Arts and Crafts Festivals, Festa Italiana, Super Paellaand others.
Florida Department of Transportation is coordinating the relocation andrenovation of 5 casitas near I-4 to the east side of 19th Street between8th and 9th Avenues. The casitas will be dedicated to the City of Tampa todevelop and then managed by the Ybor Museum as retail spaces. Rents will go to support Ybor City Museum Society.
