Little Monsters Pumpkin Express Presented by BKN Creative Calendar Neighborhood Events
Map & Details for Little Monsters Pumpkin Express Presented by BKN Creative

Although things may look a little different this year, our tradition remains! The Little Monsters Promenade has been transformed into the Little Monsters Pumpkin Express.

What does that mean?

It means a COVID-safe Halloween extravaganza for the entire family all without leaving the comforts of your vehicle! We have teamed up with BKN Creative to present this year's festivities with a Halloween procession through Centro Ybor. This “Pumpkin Express” is complete with trick or treating, music, pumpkins, characters, contests, and lots of additional goodies.

Cars will travel through our “Little Monsters Pumpkin Express” where the kiddos can show off their costumes while enjoying trick or treating, pumpkins handed through your car window, goodie bags with all the best decorations to jazz up their pumpkins, and finally, a Halloween family picture to wrap up your ride. Families can further participate by decorating their car to enter our contest to win a free two-night stay with Hotel Haya in Ybor City, among other great local prizes.

Costumes aren’t mandatory but they are definitely encouraged! This event is completely FREE and there will be volunteers to help guide you through our Pumpkin Express!

Reservations are required to enter the procession and tickets must be secured for each pumpkin you'd like to receive through the window.

Once again, this year’s event may be a little different, but we’ll celebrate our kiddos and families nonetheless.

Please join The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts (FMoPA) on November 12 for the Fourth Annual Faces of Philanthropy Gala and Auction at Oxford Exchange. This small socially-distant gala will celebrate the museum’s members, donors, and everyone who shares FMoPA’s mission of preserving, exhibiting, and promoting photographic arts in Tampa Bay. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. for a cocktail hour, followed by a seated dinner, an awards ceremony, live entertainment, and a live auction.

Just like art itself, Faces of Philanthropy 2020 will have no geographic boundaries. Guests who choose the Virtual Experience option will enjoy exclusive live streaming from the main event, an opportunity to bid on the auction items, and a gift bag with delicious treats delivered right to their doorsteps.

The Faces of Philanthropy 2020 auction will boast a variety of lots, including original photographic art, classes, workshops, unique services, and experiences. The highlight of the auction is a collection of underwater images taken by internationally-acclaimed National Geographic photographers. The dinner entertainment will include live music performances and video testimonials from artists, collectors, and museum donors. The annual Faces of Philanthropy Awards will celebrate foundations, companies, and individuals that have been instrumental to the museum’s operations in 2020. The award for the “Foundation Support of 2020” will be presented to the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay. President and CEO Marlene Spalten will receive the award on behalf of the organization.

In-person tickets start at $150 each and are available at www.fmopa.org. Those wishing to attend the event virtually should use the same link to RSVP.
